Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich


  • 8 slices brioche bread
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) softened butter
  • 1 (300 g) Alexis de Portneuf Brie d’Alexis, sliced
  • 16 strawberries, sliced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) honey
  • 8 basil leaves (optional)


  1. Place the sliced bread on a clean work surface and slather with butter.
  2. Top with Alexis de Portneuf Brie d’Alexis, strawberries, a drizzle of honey, and basil leaves. Place one slice of bread over the other to form a sandwich.
  3. In a pan set over medium-low heat, grill the sandwiches, approximately 3 to 4 minutes each side until golden. Serve.
